Trashin' The Dress!

It's not just a dress, it's your wedding dress! What would our Mother's say? Nevermind, I know what mine would say...probably what every Mother would say, "Are you crazy?" Trash The Dress or bridal artistry is fast becoming the trend in the wedding industry for brides who want to put their dress to good use after the Big Day and why not? They make interesting photos for the future grandkids! About 30 photographers from OSP got together in San Diego this weekend for a trash session and had lot of fun with the brides who were well...crazy! Thank you to Alyssa Lang of Hybrid Photography for planning this event. Here are my favorites!

Josh and Amanda

Congratulations to Josh Schwartz and Amanda Cook! They are engaged to be married on August 6th, 2007. I will have the honor of photographing their wedding here in Southern California before they move on to Tennessee. I recently saw them together at the C28 Concert Series in Temecula where I was able to take this quick photo of them. They are so happy to be finally tying the knot since Josh spends much of his time on the road touring with the band. As you may already know, Josh is the Bass player for a christian band called Seventh Day Slumber, and this was my first time seeing them play live. They are a gifted and talented group with a strong message about hope and healing. I was particularly touched by the personal testimony of lead singer Joseph Rojas. More to follow as the BIG day arrives...

Thanks Julie!

Last night I had the opportunity to meet Julie Weaver at her home. We share a mutual friendship with another photographer and so it was great to finally sit and chit chat with one of Orange County's finest wedding photographers. Julie has a crisp clean style and an assortment of beautiful wedding albums to go with it. Thanks Julie for your warm hospitality!

Rin Tin Tin?

That time of year again... every year the Inland Empire Police Canine Association hosts demonstrations at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. Their purpose is to educate the public on Police service dogs and build a relationship with the community. So, we knew some people and decided to take the kids out...and thanks to my friend Mike I was able to get on the field for some fun shots!

Little Darlings

It's been a fun weekend! I second shot a wedding with my friend Dawn dawnmalone.com/ on Friday and there is where I met these "little darlings". I couldn't help myself from following them around with my telephoto lens. They had me giggling the whole evening from the ceremony to the wedding toast! So, I'm posting a few of my favorites to share...
