Eddy and Laura

This month I enjoyed another beautiful wedding second shooting in Pasadena, CA. for Eddie Roman Studio. This wedding was special for it's cultural traditions, spirited dancers, and fine details. I don't think there was anything that went overlooked, the day was absolutely beautiful.

Take Me Out To The Ball game

The only sport Robert seems to follow these days are the MMA (mixed martial arts) events on pay-per-view, not baseball. But who doesn't like a live baseball game? The popcorn, nachos, and hot dogs alone are worth the experience, right? Okay...I also like the cracking sound of the bat, the cheers, and watching the players slide into homeplate!

So, last weekend Robert and I volunteered to help our friends at the Air 1 Radio booth for the "Faith Night" event at the Quakes vs. Mavericks game in Rancho Cucamonga.

We had a great time, while it was our first trip to a live baseball game with the kiddos.
The best part was watching Robert throw out the FIRST pitch! Yeah!

Happy Monday!

Gary and Deanna

Much of my calendar is filled this summer second shooting weddings for Eddie Roman Studio. The experience has been both a blessing and answer to prayer for many reasons. For one, I am a believer in the importance of building relationships with industry peers. The return is much greater and worth the investment...and it's a lot more FUN!

Gary and Deanna were married last month in the Redlands area. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony where several children dressed up and paticipated as bell ringers. They sat in the pews and rang their little bells as the Bride entered the church, it was so unique.

And again, I'm loving the brown colors in the details!

This little guy followed me around for a few minutes while taking pictures with someone's Nikon SLR. We giggled and took pictures of each other until his family called him back to their table. Isn't he a cutie?

The Jonasphere

Who hasn't heard of the Jonas Brothers? They're everywhere we turn. And in our house, those three Jonas boys are all I hear about from my 11 year old. I know their birthplaces, song lyrics, tour dates, and parents full names!
This past weekend Savannah became one of the 20,000 screaming fans to attend the Burnin' Up Tour live concert in Anaheim.

Thanks to dear old Dad, who joined her and braved the massive crowds of shrieking teenage girls and still lived to tell about it!

The Jonasphere.

Savannah - from the planet Jonas.

In other news, Isaiah lost a tooth this weekend....

And Bella got her ears pierced!

Happy Monday!

Cypress Wedding

I recently second shot for Karen Barnes Photography at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, CA. I loved the colors of brown and pinks that the bride chose for her wedding party and details since brown is one of my favorite colors!

I thought this little ring bearer was so cute in his tux, and when he saw me pointing my camera at him this was his reaction. What ever happened to saying cheese?

The father and daughter dance are always such proud moments of the night.
Karen is was a pleasure to work with you, thanks again for the opportunity.

Xavier and Danielle Engaged

Congratulations to my brother-in-law Xavier who will soon marry his bride-to-be, Danielle, this fall in Hawaii. Although I will not be their wedding photographer, I was able to capture the happy couple for their engagement session here in the beautiful beach coves of Corona Del Mar. More images on the slideshow!

SLIDESHOW

Xavier and Danielle, wishing you all the blessings that a married life can bring to you, with many fruitful years of a life together. Thank you again for the opportunity to document your happiness!
