Hunter Mariano | CD Release Concert

It's been an absolute blessing for my family to know and develop relationships with some of the most talented musicians in our church community, including Hunter Mariano. His new CD titled "Blink Of An Eye" was released this past fall. I was happy to photograph the release concert in our home church at Harvest in Riverside, CA.

Shoots | Gino + Yvette

Besides a good sushi roll and perfect hair color our conversations come back to photos and how fun it would be to get in front of my camera. Yvette is my fabulous hair stylist, storyteller, and friend. We spend hours together throughout the year talking, laughing, and dreaming...one of them being a photo shoot and I have been looking forward to this day ever since.

Aren't they CUTE? I love the chemistry between them...so much, we're already planning on a double date soon.

We stopped in at their favorite spot for drinks. It's where they like to visit and catch up by the cozy fire after a long week. So fab.

We ended the afternoon in an outdoor mall area where I snapped this shot of Gino looking swag...

Thank you both for the pleasure of working with you and a day to remember, cheers!

Senior Session | Justin

Off to downtown LA we went to capture some fun senior portraits for my good friend, Justin, who is a student at Ontario Christian High School. The weather behaved perfectly with a warm 70 degrees and to my surprise, hardly any traffic.

We looked for gritty urban backdrops...

...along with landscaped courtyards and fountains. We also came across an interesting Bansky art sketch in an alley only to find parked cars blocking most of the view for our use.

We ended our shoot by seeing who could eat the hottest buffalo wings. I lost.

All in all, we had a good time seeing LA with all it's colorful sides.

Justin, thank you for being a good sport. I know your future is bright because you have many friends and family cheering you on!

Ontario Historic Homes | Arellano Family

I first met Rickie at a recent wedding we both worked. She was the wedding coordinator who quickly became my best friend that day by keeping us all on track and on the same page. Her talent and hospitality made a difference in how smooth the day went for all vendors involved. She rocks.

Since then, I had the pleasure to photograph her sweet family and visit their beautiful historic neighborhood in Ontario. I posted a few favorites...

These aren't just kitty shoes. These are kitty shoes that have a matching sing-a-long-song! Sorry readers, I can't remember the lyrics well enough to post them here but she sang her song perfectly...SO CUTE.

The adorable girls...

Rickie's family included their restored Volkswagon or VW into our photo session, how cool is that?!? I just love these little Bugs.

A few details...
And for a little unique variety in their pictures, we walked along the sidewalks...

Thank you, thank you, Arellano's for your genuine hospitality in welcoming into your lovely home.

Sierra Lakes Wedding | Michael and Nicia

Michael and Nicia were married this month at Sierra Lakes Golf Club. The outdoor wedding ceremony provided a beautiful landscape view of the San Gabriel mountains. With the warm sunset and cool breeze it was the perfect Fall day for exchanging vows.

For Michael and Nicia, this moment was a dream they have waited in faith for a very long time. A milestone and testament of good things do come to those who wait. I was honored to be a small part in documenting their big day.

Nicia surprised me with this very cool custom made hangar that read, "Mrs. Montenegro". I was doing the happy dance when I saw how picture perfect her dress looked hung from it.

Here is where I love to photograph the "First Look", before the ceremony. Though this is an optional choice, it's important that the bride trusts me in allowing me to photograph them before the ceremony in the best sunlight available for romantic portraits. This saves us extra time after the ceremony which is reserved for family and wedding party photos as well. In addition, this is most likely the only time the bride and groom will be alone together the entire day, so they appreciate this time as much as I do.

Nicia, you are gorgeous!

Express yourself! His and Her comfortable shoes for only the best of occasions. Love it.

Beautiful floral details created by Jessica Stovall.

A celebration wouldn't be complete without the sweet and fancy dessert table treats from Hunneedees Bakery. Deana is the best and takes wonderful pride in her crafty goodness.

Perhaps my favorite shot of the night - the garter toss!

Congratulations and best wishes to Nicia and Michael. May your lives continue to be filled with love, laughter, and all the tender moments in between.
Hugs,
Jeanette
