Honoring Dad
Sometimes I don't give Robert enough credit for all of his sacrifice, devotion, and affection that he so generously gives to the us, okay, maybe more than sometimes...eek!
So, this year I encouraged the kids to make a more personal card for their Dad by expressing themselves on paper with pencils, markers, and crayons, nothing fancy. They happily agreed.
Isaiah drew detailed pictures inside of army men, basketball, and darts, all the games he and dad like to play together. Savannah wrote about how her dad is her favorite rockstar, while Bella drew a stick people picture of her dad wearing a crown and her wearing a beautiful dress. She announced as-a-matter-of-fact to me that her dad is the king and she is his princess!
Robert, Happy Fathers Day to an honorable man, we love you and we appreciate you. Thank you for your love, patience, and leadership in our home. XOXO
