Meet Ava Brown. A beautiful little toddler from Riverside. Ava just celebrated her 1st birthday and is my youngest client to date. When we met for her portrait session she was eager to get started. She had places to go, people to see, and I had to keep up with her along the way!

Ava stopped for a lollie pop break. These lollie pops saved me twice! When she dropped one on the ground I just pulled another one out.
(A tip to other photographers...put these in your camera bag...they work!)






Thanks for the fun walk around downtown Ava...now it's time for us to go home.

13 Years!

I can still remember years ago sitting in a home bible study group that met weekly through the youth ministry at my church. My friends and I would have so much fun in these groups with winter camps, mission trips out of the country, and late nights at Denny's. Soon, there was a new guy who started coming to our bible study and we would sit quietly and exchange courteous glances and smiles to eachother from across the room.
One day our friends planned a casual hike in the mountains and when it came time to meet for this fun day nobody was able to go except me and the new guy. This day turned out to be our "first date" as we spent the whole day together hiking, talking, and laughing. The rest they as they say...is history.

Nick and Gina

Congratulations to Nick and Gina who were married on October 13th. I assisted my good friend Nicole Liebgott in shooting this hip and stylish retro event complete with a live Rockabilly band, the Moonlight Cruisers.

C28 Concert San Jose

I recently traveled to San Jose, CA. to photograph another concert for my friends at C28. The clothing company of C28 has opened new stores in several mall locations including the Oakridge Mall in San Jose. The C28 mall stores help sponsor the C28 Outreach Ministry and host rockin' concerts right in their mall parking lots! How cool is that? There is also a special message given by Aurelio, the owner and founder of C28, and NOTW branding.
Many people, young and old, come out to hear the music and message and have walked away with more than they came with...hope.

This is the "Scars Remain Tour" with Disciple, Fireflight, Wavorly, and Dizmas.
The headliner band that joined them for this outreach event was Kutless!

Concert photography is a non stop high energy subject to photograph, the music is loud and the environment is fast paced. I loved it! I had a blast and was totally blessed by this experience!

So Cal Fires

Here we go again! This was my first thought as I woke up this morning to howling winds and the the smell of burning wood. I looked out my front door and this is what I saw...the fast growing smoke coming from the Lake Arrowhead Fire.
Shortly after, another fire was growing close to our home and we were evacuated voluntarily.

Leonard And Rebecca

Rebecca said it best during their wedding reception.
"I've known Leonard for a long time now...I know his past...and now I'll know his future" she said, in a teary-eyed toast as they thanked all their guests who attended.
This wedding was truly a labor of love for Leonard and Rebecca as all their friends came together to provide all that they needed to make this day special from the invitations to the wedding cake. What a blessing!

Leonard was so proud to have his eldest son, Anthony, stand as his Best Man.
